Rainbow Visions initiates and supports actions that contribute to making the Hunter a healthier, more enjoyable, rewarding and culturally rich place for GLBTIQ* people.
Objectives
- To initiate or support activities that enhance the health and wellbeing of the GLBTIQ*
- To initiate or support social opportunities for rainbow people in the Hunter
- To initiate or support activities that explore or give expression to rainbow cultural interests
- To break down stigma, challenge discrimination and promote inclusiveness within and beyond the community
- To act as a clearinghouse for information relevant to rainbow interests in the Hunter
- To encourage rainbow community participation and pride
