Welcome to the 6th annual Rainbow Festival and Picnic in the Park V111. Ten days of events and activities to show the PRIDE in our community and where you can be YOU!

Friday 10th

6.30pm

Rainbow Festival Launch Newcastle Region Art Gallery, Laman St, Newcastle.

Saturday 11th

9.00pm till late

Foreplay 3 Dance Party, 9pm till late, Gateway Hotel, Islington. Combined hosts, ACON, LLINC and Rainbow Visions. Dance, catch up and get hot. Free.

Sunday 12th

6.00pm

Super Sunday Pool, join in for a doubles and mixed comp to test your skills or just come to socialise. Raffles with great prizes. Everyone welcome. Gateway Hotel Email llinc@hunterlink.net.au

Monday 13th

7.00pm

Gender Variance, NEON presents a night of expression from the transgender community. ACON, 129 Maitland Rd Islington. Free

Tuesday 14th

5.30 to 9.00pm

Chill Out live music, pizza and a movie for people 25 and under. ACON, 129 Maitland Rd, Islington

7.00pm

Community Connections Dinner, includes drink on arrival, 2 course meal, entertainment and guest speaker. Bistro Restaurant, Darby St, Cooks Hill. Tix $55. Email AJ

Maynarderama - a Camperama Special, another not to be missed show presented by the one and only Maynard. Royal Exchange Bongo Room, Bolton St, Newcastle, $10 & BYO.

Thursday 16th

8.00pm

Short and Curlies Film Night, a variety of queer short films hosted by Margaret Pomegranets and David Strapon. Newcastle City Hall, King St, Newcastle (pre film champers, 7pm @ 401 Hunter St). $10/$8 Email Ivan

Sunday 19th

11.00am to 3.00pm

Picnic in the Park VIII 11am - 3pm. Food, heaps of entertainment, friendly faces, tug of love, pet parade, stalls, mayhem plus a few surprises. Family, friends and colleagues welcome! Gregson Park, Tudor St, Hamilton. Gold coin donation. Email Ivan
