Trinity Outreach Services, a UnitingCare agency has completed a research report into the needs of young people in Western Australia who come out as same sex attracted. The report was launched by Equal Opportunities Commissioner Yvonne Henderson on the 2nd August. The report titled, "Coming Out Alone", reflects the coming out experiences of the young people who had little support and information, particularly outside of Perth. Homophobia

Australian Policy Online - an article written by the The Australia Institute entitled Mapping Homophobia in Australia - July 2005
A report titled You shouldn't have to hide to be safe : A report on Homophobic Hostilities and Violence Against Gay Men and Lesbians in New South Wales was released by the NSW Attorney General's Department in December 2003. The study was conducted across NSW from March to August 2003, involving 670 survey respondents and focus group participants.
SSAFE (Same Sex Attracted Friendly Environments) in Schools, a project of Family Planning Victoria and the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society at LaTrobe University, aims to support school communities in challenging homophobia and creating safe learning environments for same-sex attracted and gender non-conforming students.
Pride & Prejudice. This program is being used into almost 250 schools, predominately in regional and outer metropolitan Victoria.
