CoastOut Fair Day  - Saturday 30th Oct

The Fair Day is located in the beautiful park of Park Beach reserve, right on the creek and 50m from the beach.

Its a big day, starting at 10am and finishing at 5pm. Its time to put the kids in the car, both the 2 and 4 legged variety. Claim your blade of grass under a tree for a whole day of entertainment.

Gold Coast Gay Day 2010

If you are reading this then you were either there or you missed it but the good news is - IT'S ON NEXT YEAR 1st May 2011!

Well as many of you may know the Gold Coast has a fantastic Gold Coast Gay Day Our very own Jane Fondle (Lee-Anne MacDougal) attended to check it out and bring us back some feedback.

Equal Love - 2010: Year of Action for Same-Sex Marriage

In March 2010 thousands of people marched in several states in Australia for same sex marriage rights, including Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. The Melbourne rally, organised by Equal Love, brought 1,500 people onto the streets. These were the first rallies organised by numerous GLBTI rights groups this year against the ban on same sex marriage as a part of the National Year of Action. It was a fabulous start to making the issue of same sex marriage an election issue, even though it has become clear that the politicians don't want it to be.
